Hi! My name is Lydia Olson, and I am a junior at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. I am majoring in Studio Art with a minor in Digital Art and the Humanities.
I create art that engages with the natural world using various mediums, including ceramics, sculpture, and drawing, with a focus on environmental themes. As an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe, my indigenous heritage informs my work. The Ojibwe values of interconnectedness, humility, and honesty are central to everything I create.
